Strategic Plan 2025-2028

Onward!

Onward! is Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's 2025–2028 strategic plan—a clear, focused vision for the years ahead. The plan is the result of an inclusive, collaborative process involving more than 115 members of our University community. From that work emerged four priorities that will frame our decisions, resources, and innovation: Academic Excellence & Innovation, Student Experience, Visibility & Growth, and Stewardship.

As the only Salesian university in the United States—and the only Catholic university in the Lehigh Valley—Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is uniquely poised for future growth. Our distinct identity and rich Salesian tradition serve as the foundation for this plan, which strengthens and advances these values across all aspects of University life. Here’s Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ President, Fr. Jim Greenfield, to provide a brief introduction.

Mission as the Foundation

Our Catholic, Salesian mission both identifies and energizes us for distinction in all University activities and initiatives. The Gospel, our Salesian heritage and spirit, and our core values provide a foundation that guarantees a rich future, shapes our relationships, and informs the decisions that will take us Onward!

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is a Catholic, Salesian university that inspires transformative learning through the liberal arts and professional studies by energizing students to be who they are and be that well.

How We'll Measure Progress

Each pillar includes clear goals, specific actions, and measurable outcomes. We will report on progress annually and highlight impact stories from across campus.

Marking a Milestone:

60 Years of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (1965–2025)

The launch of Onward! coincides with the 60th anniversary of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. This moment invites gratitude for the mission entrusted to us and renewed commitment to forming graduates ready to serve their communities, professions, and families with faith, wisdom, and purpose.
